Artist Statement:

Peggy Shiffrin works mainly in gold, silver, copper, and brass, and loves discovering what those metals on their own can become. She pursues design ideas that appeal to her personally, whether or not they are consistent with current trends. Some of her work is evocative of organic natural forms. Other items explore the repetitive rhythms of geometic forms. She has shown work at a number of group shows for more than 15 years, including the Ladysmiths Show and the Pleiades Art Jewelry Show.
