Artist Statement:

Carl Johnson is a weaver from Washington, DC. He received his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He strives to capture a moment in time, to isolate a single thought, and to recreate it visually through weaving with wire. He is a process-driven creator, always pursuing the enjoyment of creating, and trusts that the end result of a piece will fulfill his vision and capture that moment.
