Artist Statement:
Cloisonné enameling has been my lifelong passion, however, it was only after completing my MA in Mediterranean Archaeology that I formally delved into this craft. My art is inspired by life's experiences, personal challenges, themes of nature and rebirth, and our evolving world. I often let creativity flow freely, but sometimes pay homage to classical art motifs from ancient cultures I've studied. Experimentation and risk taking are crucial to my artistic process. I relish the challenges I set for myself and enjoy pushing boundaries. These elements infuse excitement and gratification into my creative journey, especially when I achieve the desired outcome.
